Because Brown & Associates, Inc. is a certified MBE, this allows city and county governments an alternative and opportunity to add diversity with the management and administration of various projects.
For example, if a city or county government contracts with a MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) such as Brown & Associates, Inc. to administer a CDBG project (Community Development Block Grant) or HOME project (Home Investment Partnership Grant Program) the unit of government will receive additional points for “Minority Participation” on future grant applications.
